Open Mic Night at Museum of Children's Arts FRI. 5.10.19
Are you under 18 and would you like the chance to perform for an audience? Open Mic at the Museum of Children’s Arts is a dynamic event for youth, families, and communities to come together, be creative and get connected! We are opening up the stage to give young artists an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. We will provide a PA system, amps and microphones, BYO instruments and/or your voice.
Showcase your talent by singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, or reciting a poem. Please register at the Museum of Children’s Arts or online at centerforurbanexcellence.org/events by 5 pm Thursday, May 9. Open to performers aged 18 & under, but all ages are welcome to come applaud! Each participant will have up to 7 minutes and should arrive by 5:30 pm for a quick mic check.
All abilities welcome - we want to nurture young people's confidence and provide performance opportunities.
The magic of words lies in their ability to weave unseen worlds, spark forgotten emotions, and connect souls across time and space. Every sentence is a brushstroke on the canvas of thought, inviting readers to step into a dance of ideas—sometimes wild, sometimes serene, but always alive. Here’s to the stories that linger long after the last line and the minds brave enough to explore them. 🌌 darkmarket
