Opportunity: Forklift, Logistics, Operations and Warehouse (F.L.O.W) program

Contra Costa College (CCC) brings back it's Forklift, Logistics, Operations and Warehouse (F.L.O.W) program.
CCC’s 10-week F.L.O.W program, students learn how to work with forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as gain valuable digital literacy skills and foundation knowledge of warehouse operations. These skills and connections with our community and employer partners can help participants get a job at the conclusion of the program.

The F.L.O.W program provides an emphasis on essential employment skills including interpersonal skills, reliability and professionalism, OSHA and Hazmat certification and job placement assistance.

The program will begin August 21st 2017 and end October 27th 2017, Monday through Friday, 9am – 4pm at Contra Costa College 2600 Mission Bell Drive, San Pablo, California 94806, San Pablo, California,.

Participation requirements are:

  • You have lived in California for at least 1 year and 1 day
  • Valid California I.D. or Drivers’ License
  • 7th Grade Reading and Math Level
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Willing to respect attendance and behavior policies
